OWoN Exclusive | Equity For All - the value of lasting Infrastructure

What none of you will have seen is the in depth portrayal of the evolutionary historical emergence, then development of America. This is the time and events clock leading up to today.

Let's assume for a moment there is a real God out there in the cosmos. This entity is not the creation of a needy human mind as Sigmund Freud supposes. If such a force exists, then it would necessarily be something of vast wisdom. Should this God of ours be relational based, then the vastness of a empty universe would not be a happy place to exist. Let's suppose that He chose to create something out of nothing to find some greater pleasure and meaning. Yet, in so doing, decided that true fellowship could only exist with a free will to choose to do so. The creation of mankind could have been two fold. First and foremost was to be a companion to the creator and second to be a steward of His creation.

Granting a choice to be a companion carries with it consequences. For the sake of further discussion, let's assume that in mankind's process of making these choices that a breach occurred. This breach of mutual trust resulted in foundational shifts in how God and mankind relate to each other. This complicated their relationship profoundly. Something dramatic had to happen if there was ever going to be restoration of the relationship. Someone or something had to bridge the gap.

What gets lost by many who choose to cross the bridge is the profound lack of understanding that along with the restoration of the relationship comes the responsibility of stewardship. This lack of understanding is often communicated through various theological stances. It's more convenient and profitable to fleece the sheep while they are asleep.

If our benevolent God is trustworthy, then he does not show favoritism toward any part of humanity. He puts part of himself into every life that is formed from the moment of conception. This sharing of himself is a bond that all of humanity shares. He would necessarily place the intellect and ability to solve many problems across the globe not in only one geographic location, but in many. This bond between the village of humanity and God would assure that all were given an equitable share of problem solving ability while being a productive member of the whole.

That would necessarily leave us with a great dilemma. Our benevolent creator would, without question, deposit in some third world people group the answers to what the "others" might be looking for. By not having equal access to the basics of health, education, food and shelter, the elite of society would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. Their comfort, predatory ways and lack of understanding will be their own undoing.

If there was any one tribe that rose up to dominate any other, He would, I am sure, choose to take them down a peg or two as the saying goes. No one people group would be afforded the opportunity to enslave all others. History records the rise and fall of many civilizations over the eons. Their scattered ruins litter the surface of the planet. The big question is, are we facing just such a re balance within the larger confines of a global perspective?

Surly justice would be the foundation of God's relationship with his creation. If that is the case, then how can so few use so much of the world's resources and expect to continue in their predatory pillage without bearing the consequences? How could justice allow so many to be enslaved by so few? How can our failure of our stewardship continued unabated under the watchful eye of our creator, God?

How can the "machinery", of those who claim to be serving be allowed to crush the life out of the innocent people? If by some miracle a mechanism, machine or invention could afford us the ability to continue the American Lifestyle without cost, would we choose to continue, to embrace it? Is having the money to do something the same thing as having the moral imperative to spend it any way we wish? Just because we have the money to live large doesn't mean we should. Right?

Does funding, constructing and maintaining a purpose built space that seats some hundreds for only two or three hours a week honor the creator of the universe? Add to this the often popular architectural idolatry to the mix only complicates things further. If such places began to pay property taxes like any other structure in town, what would be the benefit from it as a whole? How many teachers could be hired? How many policemen could be better equipped?

Should, by some miracle, we as a society are given the opportunity to improve our infrastructure, how would we spend the money? If all we do is expand the status quo, then we will have accomplished absolutely nothing. Bigger is not better! More of the same only delays the inevitable failure of our "Roman Empire". We have to change everything from our eating habits to how we purchase health care.

If you think the government is going to do it, think again. Government is simply the reflection of the people. That is a terrible indictment against us given the horrid shape of today's government. But this simple truth may not be pleasant to embrace. When we change the government we will have no other choice but to follow suit or it will become more irrelevant than it already is. It is the ordinary citizens who have to rise to the occasion, by saying enough is enough.

Many, many pockets of people are rising to the occasion. I was fortunate enough to visit our local farmers market today. Local people raising healthy local food. Micro-Architecture is sweeping many different parts of the country. Cut off the mortgage cash cow to the banks and watch how quickly they sing a different tune. Stop buying all of the Cabal's "stuff" and watch what happens.

We need to invest wisely in new systems and new models. Everything from community planning to architecture needs to shift its emphasis. It's not difficult nor does it take a lot of money. All we need is a change of heart and willingness to embrace new approaches. The embryonic stages of this revolution is already surfacing when you know what to look for.

I can't believe that God would ever be more pleased than the day we stopped the madness. If our God is all powerful, not the figments of our imaginations, then I would suppose that any steps in this new direction would be empowered with help. America needs to dramatically down size just about everything to make room for everyone else. It's going to happen - voluntarily or involuntary. The choice is ours. Having crossed over a bridge of reconciliation, do we not want to honor the builder of it? No one issue could be more imperative for us as we face the choices of how to rebuild the infrastructure of humanity. Will we simply build another Detroit or will we do something more lasting?

The choice is ours, let's hope we choose wisely.

OWoN Site Tutorial | layout and how to navigate

Welcome to the One World of Nations site. We hope you enjoy your visit - finding informative, useful information and joining the debate in the comments section. The following will explain the layout, functionality and how to navigate the site. Click on any image to see larger and view in manual slide show.

Note: For mobile versions you will have a dressed down linear layout same as before the changes. For iPads and tablets, if your device renders full site version, it works well with only minor glitches (wifi) as long as you are patient and wait for the whole page to load before trying to navigate. If you are on mobile network with any device or have slow internet speeds, we suggest using the mobile site address. Just add ?m=1 to the end of the site address or any page link. ie:  oneworldofnations.com?m=1

This is the first page you will see when you arrive at OWoN. It is most commonly known as the "HOME" page or landing page. This contains our site title and brief site description. Right below this is the "MENU" bar seen in the image below.

The "MENU" bar contains tabs for navigating the site to desired locations. You will find the "MENU" bar on every page of the site to assist you with navigation. The tabs are self explanatory so we will not go into it in detail. Most of the tabs it contains will be explained later in this tutorial. Remember the "MENU" bar is on every page so just click on "HOME" to start over on the "HOME" page from wherever you are if you need or want to.

The next section is the introduction to the site which contains an explanation of why we are here and the challenge we face. Image below.

We live in a very challenging time. It is our hope that being informed and aware to what is going on around us can bring an understanding and want to change the world for the benefit of all. All inclusive.

The following section is the "FEATURED" section. It is a dynamic montage of article images and titles. See image below.

The "FEATURED" section will display the top 10 most frequented articles in the last 7 days. This means they have received the most page reads and it will usually mean they are the most active for comments. Simply place your cursor on any one of the images or titles below the image and click. You will be taken directly to that article. Images will move from left to right and revert when the 10th is reached. The featured articles mean that they are the most visited articles and are likely to contain the most active comment sections.

The next section is "POSTS". Some may find it confusing, but once you understand how it functions it is very useful for navigating the site quickly and effortlessly, as well as having a visual image montage of what is new and can be used for older posts, however it will be much slower that the "BLOG ARCHIVE" which will be covered later. See image below.

It is laid out as follows. In the top left corner (1st spot) of the image montage will be the most recent article posted or, more commonly, the most recent "EXCLUSIVE" article posted. It can stay there as long as we require regardless of when originally posted. Following to the right (2nd spot) will be the next more recent article posted chronically. Sometimes, however, there maybe a post that we wish to expose more than others. These could be, but not limited to, what we call features or guest posts. Those can also take 2nd spot for days regardless of when originally posted. Exclusive, Featured and Guest posts tend to be the most active for comments.

Other then the stipulations quoted above all images in the "POST" section will be in chronological order starting with the the most recent in the top left corner moving right and then down to the left moving right once again on the next row, going older and older as you go. But don't let that fool you, because the first montage page you see is only today's and yesterdays posts and will change accordingly as a new days articles appear. After seeing it for a few days you will see how it functions. Simply move your cursor on to any of the images and the title, date of post and a short snippet will appear - click on to go to that article.

Now how to navigate the "POST" section. Below is an image that highlights the bottom of the post section. See image.

Notice right below the image montage there is a tab showing 1 to 400+. Use this tab to view older articles in image montages that are set much the same as the first page - two days of posts. Only difference being is it will mix 3 days posts over two pages at times depending on how many posts were made per day as there is a maximum of how many images can be displayed at one time.

Next is the "CONTACT" section - pretty self explanatory. Just be sure to fill in all the blanks with relevant information for it to function.

We will now use an article page to explain layout and function. See image below.

Notice the "MENU" bar is there for your use. We will divide the page into several images so it can be more easily shown each item that needs focus. We will not explain the whole page but rather just hit on some key information and navigating tools. On the above image is our newsletter subscription. Be sure to verify the email that is promptly delivered to your email inbox to receive our newsletter. If email is not verified the newsletter will not be sent. If you have not received the verification email within a few minutes check your spam folder. If still not found try again or contact us for assistance.

"RECENT POSTS" is the 5 most recent posts with a thumbnail image and title. Just place cursor over any article you wish to go to and click. You will be taken to the article. Same rules apply that were discussed on the "POSTS" section.

The two "POPULAR POST" sections operate the same way except for one difference. "POPULAR POSTS - LAST & DAYS" is just that. The top 5 most popular posts over the last 7 days. "POPULAR POSTS - ALL TIME" is the same but is for all time spanning over 3000+ articles and growing daily. The most popular posts mean the most visited articles and will most likely be the most active with comments.

"CATEGORIES" work the same as the "POSTS" section image montage and follow the same chronological rules. Simply click on one category and see all articles on this site which suits the category name. Place your cursor on the image to see title, date posted and snippet. just click on the image to go to article.

"BLOG ARCHIVE" works the same as "POST" section image montage and follow the same chronological rules. Simply click on a day to see all the articles posted on that day.

"SUGGESTED LINKS" are links to trusted sites that we either support or appreciate their efforts in bringing and sharing information which is vital to the public to understand and stay informed on issues that need addressing. Some or many of their articles are featured here on this site.

"Previous" and "Next" are self explanatory and are quickly explained on the image above.

"Related Posts" are articles of the same category, authors or type. Whether they be Exclusives, Features, other articles authored by Neo (presented here) or other guest authors. They can also go by information type like Banking, Humor or Health.

There are comment types. "BLOG COMMENTS" are typical site comments and operate in the same fashion. Just type what you would like to say in a new comment or a reply to existing, select which account you want to use - Google or Open ID and select "publish". "FACEBOOK COMMENTS" are for Facebook only and will not show in regular blog comments. You can comment right to Facebook, just select and comment.

Last of all, found at the bottom of every page are our Social Network Buttons. Click on to follow, or in the case of the RSS Buttons, subscribe to new posts and/or comments.

In closing we hope this tutorial was found useful and will compliment what you already know or have learned recently from using the site. if after this tutorial you feel that this new format is not for you, then may we suggest the following:

As an alternative till you become more comfortable with the site may I suggest these two options below and you can choose one if any that works best for you:

1) At the bottom of every page you will find two RSS buttons on the right hand side beside the google+ button. The one on the left is for posts and the one on the right is for comments. Click on either one. In posts you will see all the posts in a linear format. If you select comments the same, you will see most recent comments in a linear format. Click on any of the blue headings to go direct to the article the comment is found on. You may or may not subscribe, your choice, but you can always view in linear format when clicking on the RSS buttons.

2) You can view the site in mobile format. All you have to do is add ?m=1 to the end of the site address or anyone of the site links. This format will also show in linear but with thumbnails and short snippets. Use this link as example, oneworldofnations.com?m=1

On Washington's Ukrainian Fiasco: "Who Is The Real Problem Here?"

OWoN: Well said. Deviants and Liars.

Zero Hedge
By Tyler Durden
28 July 2014

Submitted by David Stockman via Contra Corner blog,

In just 800 words Pat Buchanan exposes the sheer juvenile delinquency embodied in Washington’s current Ukrainian fiasco. He accomplishes this by reminding us of the sober restraint that governed the actions of American Presidents from FDR to Eisenhower, Reagan and Bush I with respect to Eastern Europe during far more perilous times.

In a word, as much as they abhorred the brutal Soviet repression of the Hungarian uprising in 1956, the Prague Spring in 1968 and the solidarity movement in Poland in the early 1980s, among many other such incidents, they did not threaten war for one simple reason: These unfortunate episodes did not further endanger America’s national security. Instead, in different ways each of these Presidents searched for avenues of engagement with the often disagreeable and belligerent leaders of the Soviet Empire because they “felt that America could not remain isolated from the rulers of the world’s largest nation”.

Accordingly, during the entire span from 1933, when FDR recognized the Soviet Union, until 1991, when it ended, the US never once claimed Ukraine’s independence was part of its foreign policy agenda or a vital national security interest. Why in the world, therefore, should we be meddling in the backyard of a far less threatening Russia today?

More importantly, if Ike could invite Khrushchev to tour America and pow-wow with him at Camp David after the suppression of the Hungarian freedom fighters and his bluster over Berlin, what in the world is Obama doing attempting to demonize Putin and make him an international pariah? The fact is, Crimea had been part of Russia for 200 years, and the Donbas had been its Russian-speaking coal, steel and industrial heartland since the time of Stalin.

Putin’s disagreements with the Ukrainian nationalists who took over Kiev during the Washington inspired overthrow of its constitutionally-elected government in February are his legitimate geo-political business, but have nothing to do with our national security. And whatever his considerable faults, Putin is no totalitarian menace even remotely in the same league as his Soviet predecessors. In that regard, Hillary Clinton’s sophomoric comparison of him to Hitler is downright preposterous.

At the heart of the matter is the War Party’s desire to punish Putin for pushing back against American interventionism in Syria, Iran, Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East. For that Washington has now ensnared itself in an ancient ethnic struggle that has roiled Russia’s borders for centuries; and has landed smack in the middle of an attempt by Kiev’s nationalists to violently maintain the “territorial integrity” of a nation who’s boundaries have been meandering all over the map since the middle ages.

In that context, Senator John McCain’s call to arm the ruffians, opportunists, oligarchs and neo-fascists who took power in a street level coup in Kiev is downright lunatic. It causes Buchanan to ask, “Who is the real problem here?”

The answer is that it’s not Putin, and that conclusion comes from a brilliant partisan scholar of 20th century foreign policy who is no left-wing pacifist.

New MH17 Sensation | German experts point finger at Ukrainian air-force jets.

OWoN: I suppose a country that wants to escape the rhetoric might just throw the truth in air for all to see. The plot thickens.

Surface to air missile attack ruled out as calibre of cockpit bullet holes puts Ukraine pilots in the frame for MH17 murders

The Slog
By John Ward
28 July 2014

This is what a German pilot-cum-air technology expert Peter Haisenko has just published on the subject of the MH17 disaster (my emphases):

‘The misfortune of the Malaysian MH 017 is known to all. The flight recorder is in England and is being evaluated. What can come of this?

Maybe more than you want to accept….if you look at the image of Cockpit-Fragments, this picture is certainly shocking.

Entry And Exit holes from bullets in the area of the Cockpit. This is not speculation, but analysis of clear facts: the cockpit shows clear evidence of bullet holes. You can see the entry holes and some exit points. The edges of the bullet holes are bent inwards,
these are much smaller and round in shape. A 30mm calibre. The exit holes are less well formed and the edges are torn outwards.

Furthermore it is visible that the exit holes have torn the double aluminium skin and bent them outwards. That is to say, splinters from inside the cockpit blew through the outside of the cabin. The open rivets have also been bent outwards….There is only one conclusion one can make, and that is that this: the aircraft was not hit by a missile. The damage to the aircraft is exclusively in the cockpit area….

Armour-Piercing Ammunition. Russia has published radar data that a Ukranian SU 25 was close to MH 017. this corresponds with Spanish air traffic control that two Ukrainian fighter aircraft were in direct contact with MH 017. Examine the weaponry of the SU 25: it is fitted out with a 30mm cannon Type GSch-302 /AO-17A, with 250 rounds of splintering exploding bullets on a belt – shrapnel rounds. The cockpit of MH 017 was hit from TWO sides, as there are entry and exit holes on the same side….’

Very compelling stuff, is it not?

David Cameron announces immigration benefits crackdown

OWoN: The UK cracks down on Welfare Immigrants. No job in 3 months and your Welfare stops. Leave!

No more hand outs. Reality check - don't work, don't eat.

Benefits for EU migrants in the UK will be cut off after three months, says PM, as he promises Coalition changes will 'put Britain first'

The Telegraph
By Peter Dominiczak
29 July 2014

David Cameron is to announce tough action on immigration that will halve the amount of time foreigners can claim benefits in the UK.

The Coalition will introduce laws to ensure that European Union migrants can only claim out-of-work benefits for three months, Mr Cameron says in an article for The Telegraph.

The Prime Minister also pledges to stop more than 500,000 British jobs being advertised across the EU and announces tough new curbs on colleges offering visas to “bogus” students.

The Government will make changes to the immigration system that put “Britain first” and ensure that the UK is “a country that is not a soft touch”, Mr Cameron says. “We changed the rules so that no one can come to this country and expect to get out-of-work benefits immediately; they must wait at least three months,” Mr Cameron adds.

“And we are announcing today that we are cutting the time people can claim these benefits for. It used to be that European jobseekers could claim Job Seeker’s Allowance or child benefit for a maximum of six months before their benefits would be cut off, unless they had very clear job prospects.

Humor | The Great Pretender

This is funny!

Little did the Platters know in 1955 that this song would be so popular and appropriate in 2014, 59 years later.
